How yeybu Works
yeybu brings free-item listings from classifieds sites across Europe into one search. Tell it what you need and where you are, and it shows what people nearby are giving away.
- Search in Your Own Language. Type what you are looking for in your language. yeybu also finds matching items that were listed in other languages.
- Search by Location. Choose a country or a city, or search near you, and see on a map what is being given away around you.
- Set Up a Search Alert. Save a search with a free account and get an email when a new matching item is listed.
- Contact the Giver Directly. Open the listing and contact the giver on the original site. yeybu is free to use and nothing is for sale.
Behind the Scenes
- Where the Listings Come From. yeybu gathers giveaway listings from public classifieds sites and links every one to its original advert. You contact the giver on the site where the item was posted.
- How We Keep It Genuinely Free. Every new listing is checked before it appears. Anything that is not a genuine giveaway is filtered out, and anything doubtful stays hidden until it has been reviewed.
- How Listings Stay Fresh. Listings are re-checked against the site they came from and removed here once they are gone there. Search shows listings from the last 14 days unless you ask for older ones.
- Give Something Away. Have something you no longer need? Post it on yeybu for free, and someone nearby can come and collect it.
- Report a Listing. Spotted a listing that is not a real giveaway? Report it from the listing page and it goes straight to review.
- No Account Needed to Search. Searching and browsing work without an account. You only need one for extras such as search alerts.
